Mya Kate
Mya Kate is a rising country artist whose music blends a fresh perspective with a timeless sound inspired by legends like Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, and fellow Canadian Tenille Townes.
Known for her authentic storytelling and ability to connect with audiences of all ages, she built her performance foundation as a Senior Singer with The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede (2020–2023) and continues to collaborate with musicians across Alberta.
A two-time Country Music Alberta Horizon Youth Award nominee (2023, 2024), she released her debut single "Cowboy When You Wanna Be" before stepping into a breakout year as Global Country’s 2025 winner.
She was recently named NACMAI Female Entertainer of the Year, with her latest single "Get Away" earning Song of the Year, alongside her recognition as Most Promising Vocalist—solidifying her as an artist to watch.
Mya Kate's dreams are as big as the Alberta sky, and her voice just may be big enough to get her there.
